Wheel Bearings: Rear

  1. Rear wheel bearings are not adjustable. Ensure hub bearing nut is tightened to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Using a dial indicator, check wheel bearing end play. If end play is more than .002" (.05 mm), replace hub and bearing assembly. See HUB & BEARING ASSEMBLY  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (REAR SUSPENSION).
