Wheel Bearings: Front

  1. Front wheel bearings are not adjustable. Ensure axle nut is tightened to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Using a dial indicator, check wheel bearing end play.
  2. No end play should exist. If end play exists, replace hub and bearing assembly. See HUB & BEARING ASSEMBLY (FRONT)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (FRONT SUSPENSION).
