System Test M: Washer Fluid Warning Never/Always On
- Check Warning - Ensure reservoir is full. Unplug connector from fluid sensor. Turn ignition on. If warning appears, go to next step. If warning does not appear, go to step 3).
- Check Ground - Turn ignition off. Test Black wire for continuity between fluid sensor harness connector and ground. If wire is okay, go to step 4). Repair wire as necessary.
- Check Circuit No. 82 Resistance - Test Pink/Yellow wire for short or open circuit between fluid sensor harness connector and terminal No. 17 of EIC connector C256. If wire is okay, go to next step. Repair wire if necessary.
- Check Washer Fluid Reservoir Level Sensor - Test fluid sensor for continuity. Continuity should exist between Pink/Yellow wire terminal and Black wire terminal with fluid level high. Continuity should not exist with fluid level low. Replace sensor as necessary. If sensor is okay, replace EIC, then retest system.
