Test Procedure
- Functional Test mode can only be extended after SERVICE BAY DIAGNOSTICS has been performed. Code 11 or other codes must be displayed before entering test. If codes ARE displayed, go to next step. If no codes are displayed, repeat SERVICE BAY DIAGNOSTICS. If service bay diagnostics cannot be performed, go to TEST P, UNABLE TO ENTER SERVICE BAY DIAGNOSTICS.
- Put tester button in HOLD position. Wait 20 seconds. Depress tester button to TEST position. Code 23 should be displayed, then Codes 26, 31, 32 and 33 will be displayed in order. If codes are displayed, go to next step. If no codes are displayed, release tester button to HOLD position. Wait 20 seconds and depress button to TEST position. If codes are still not displayed, repeat SERVICE BAY DIAGNOSTICS.
- Within 4 seconds after desired test code appears, release tester button to HOLD position. As long as tester button is in HOLD position, function test will continue. Tester may or may not display code for functional test selected. Return to test from which you were directed here.
- To exit, depress tester button to TEST position. Function tests may be entered and exited as often as desired. Return to test from which you were directed here.
