Crankshaft & Bearings

Upper and lower main bearings are not interchangeable. Check crankshaft journal and bearing fit. If oil clearance cannot be obtained with standard bearings, try a .001" (.025 mm) undersize upper bearing in combination with a standard lower bearing to get correct clearance.
