Description & Operation: Odometer

The odometer is located in the right display section of EIM. Accumulated distance traveled will be shown on a 6 1/2-digit, seven-segment display with decimal point. The odometer is capable of displaying from 00000.0 to 199999.9.

Distance information is provided by the same transmission-mounted sensor used to provide information to the speedometer. Mileage accumulated by the odometer is stored in the NVMM at intervals of 10 miles. Mileage is also stored when the ignition is turned off.
