Fuel Display: Notes

The digital fuel display is located in left section of EIM. Fuel level is displayed on two, 7-segment digits. An International Standards Organization (ISO) fuel pump symbol and the appropriate display unit (gallons or liters) are also displayed. For fuel levels greater than 20 gallons (75.7 liters), an "F" will be displayed (indicating full) and for fuel levels less than 1 gallon (3.78 liters), an "E" will be displayed (indicating empty).

When cluster is first turned on, a 2-second self-test sequence will be initiated. This allows driver to verify illumination of all display segments. If fuel display is operating correctly, all displays will come on and then go off.
