Jacking & Towing Precautions

CAUTION: Failure to turn off power before raising vehicle may result in unexpected inflation or deflation of air springs. DO NOT reconnect battery cable or turn air suspension switch on until vehicle is lowered and slight vehicle weight exists on all wheels.
  1. Electrical power to air suspension system must be turned off before hoisting, jacking or towing vehicle. Air suspension system can be turned off by disconnecting battery cable or turning off air suspension switch. Air suspension switch is located behind trim panel in left side of trunk. See Figure .
  2. Use a body hoist when raising vehicle. If body hoist is not available, use floor jack and raise front of vehicle at No. 2 crossmember. Support vehicle body with jackstands at each front corner.
  3. Raise rear of vehicle at jacking points located 12" in front of wheel opening. Support vehicle on each side with jackstands.
