Stabilizer Bar: Removal
- Turn off air suspension switch, located behind trim panel in left side of trunk. See Figure . Using a body hoist, raise vehicle. Support vehicle with jackstands behind subframe.
- Remove and discard nuts from attaching link between stabilizer bar and strut. Remove steering gear-to-subframe nuts. Separate steering gear from subframe. Support subframe with jackstands. Remove and discard 2 bolts from rear of subframe.
- Lower rear of subframe for access to stabilizer bar retaining brackets. Remove and discard stabilizer bar bracket retaining bolts. Remove stabilizer bar brackets, insulators and stabilizer bar. Discard insulators.
