Removal & Installation (Inner Pivot Bushing)

1. Remove lower control arm. See LOWER CONTROL ARM (FRONT) under FRONT SUSPENSION REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Using Bushing Remover (T86P-5493-A2 & T86P-5493-A3) and "C" Clamp (T74P-3044-A1) from Service Set (T86P-5493-A), remove inner pivot bushing. See Fig 1 . The "C" clamp must be installed in a vise when servicing bushings.
2. To install, use Bushing Installer (T86P-5493-A4) and "C" clamp. See Fig 1 . Ensure inner pivot bushing is installed so flanged side is toward front of lower control arm. Tighten "C" clamp until it bottoms on lower control arm. This will properly position the bushing.
