Air Spring Deflation

Turn on air suspension switch, located behind trim panel in left side of trunk. See Figure . Turn ignition off. Install battery charger to prevent battery drain.
Open access door in left side of trunk, and attach SUPER STAR II tester to system diagnostic pigtail. See Figure . Place test button on SUPER STAR II tester in HOLD (up) position.
Depress brake pedal and turn ignition on. Depress test button on SUPER STAR II tester to TEST (down) position. Air suspension control module will send spring fill codes to SUPER STAR II tester. Codes will be displayed on SUPER STAR II tester in a scrolling manner.

Determine which code indicates deflating (vent) of air spring being serviced. See AIR SPRING CODE table.

Once proper code is determined, air spring can be deflated by releasing test button on SUPER STAR II tester when proper code is displayed. For example, left front air spring will be deflated by releasing test button while Code 22 is being displayed.
CAUTION: Vehicle must be supported when deflating air springs.
As long as test button is released, air spring will be deflated (vent). To stop a selected operation, depress test button on SUPER STAR II tester to TEST (down) position. The SUPER STAR II tester will begin displaying codes in a scrolling manner. After air spring is deflated, turn off air suspension switch.

CAUTION: DO NOT remove air spring solenoid until air spring has fully been deflated.
