Ball Joint Checking
- Turn off air suspension switch, located behind trim panel in left side of trunk. See Figure . Raise and support vehicle so front wheels are clear of floor and wheels are in the fully downward position.
- Move lower edge of tire in and out while noting movement of steering knuckle and lower control arm. Any movement indicates ball joint wear. If any movement is seen, replace lower control arm and ball joint assembly.
