Diagnostic Procedure "B"

  1. Turn off lights. Check connections at lamp-out module. Turn ignition switch to START position. If none of the indicators light, go to step 2). Go to step 4) if one or 2 indicators light. If all 3 warning indicators light, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE "C".
  2. Disconnect lamp-out module. Check harness connector for voltage at Red/Light Blue wire (circuit No. 32) from ignition switch. If voltage is at least 5 volts, go to step 3). Charge battery or service circuit No. 32 if voltage is not at least 5 volts. Check fuse and indicator light connector. Service as necessary. Go to step 4) if fuse and connector are okay.
  3. Disconnect lamp-out module. Turn ignition switch to ACC or RUN. Ground the appropriate circuits at the harness connector. If appropriate outage warning indicators light, replace lamp-out warning module. Service bulbs or associated circuitry if warning indicators do not illuminate.
    • Circuit No. 130 if problem is headlight outage
    • Circuit No. 132 if problem is taillight outage
    • Circuit No. 135 if problem is brakelight outage
