Pinpoint Test FC

  1. Drive vehicle to confirm problem. It may take several minutes for average to change. Check that speedometer works properly. Go to PINPOINT TEST AN if speedometer does not operate properly. Go to step 2) if speedometer operates properly.
  2. Turn ignition on. Check for CHECK ENGINE or CHECK DCL warning. If warnings are not present, replace EIC. If CHECK ENGINE or CHECK DCL warning appears, see appropriate test in TESTS W/CODES article under ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
