Pinpoint Test AL

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect 4-pin harness connector, located near voltage regulator. Connect a jumper from pin A34 (circuit No. 904, Light Green/Red wire) to pin C4 (circuit No. 676, Pink/Orange wire). Turn ignition on. If warning signal now blinks, replace voltage regulator. DO NOT  disconnect jumper. If warning stays on continuously, Go to step 2).
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove EIC. Check for continuity between harness connector pin A34 (circuit No. 904, Light Green/Red wire) and pin C4 (circuit No. 676, Pink/Orange wire). Replace EIC if continuity exists. Repair circuit No. 904 if no continuity exists.
