Pinpoint Test AK

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect wire at oil pressure sender. Turn ignition on. Call up oil pressure gauge. Replace oil pressure sender if oil pressure warning now appears. If no warning appears, go to step 2).
  2. Reconnect wire to oil pressure sender. Remove EIC. Measure resistance between pin C1 (circuit No. 31, White/Red wire) and pin C4 (circuit No. 676, Pink/Orange wire) on EIC connector. If resistance is greater than 55 ohms, replace EIC. Repair circuit No. 31 to oil pressure sender if resistance is less than 55 ohms.
