Electronic Instrument Cluster (EIC)
- Position vehicle on level surface to prevent movement when transmission selector is out of PARK. Disconnect battery ground cable. Unlock ignition switch. Move shift lever down from in front of EIC. Tilt steering column down as far as possible.
- Remove left and right finish moldings by pulling upward to unsnap 2 clips. Disconnect electrical connectors. Set moldings aside. Remove 5 Torx screws below EIC. Unsnap and remove trim from panel. Unplug switch assembly electrical connectors.
- Remove 3 screws from bottom of steering column shroud. Lift upper section of shroud. Disconnect clip on left side near steering wheel. Separate upper and side sections of shroud near ignition switch. Slip upper section from shift lever.
- Remove 4 Torx screws securing EIC to panel substructure. Place a clean, soft cloth on steering column. Tilt top of cluster slightly toward rear of vehicle.
- Reach behind EIC. Press locking tabs, and then unplug 2 connectors from center of EIC and one connector from left side. Disconnect 2 clips retaining PRNDL assembly. Position PRNDL assembly down and to right.
- Push bottom of cluster into cavity. Tilt top toward rear of vehicle. Pull EIC up and out from cavity. To install, reverse removal procedure.
