Exhaust Manifold: Installation

  1. Clean mating surfaces of exhaust manifold and cylinder head. Clean mounting flange and muffler inlet pipe. Position exhaust manifold on cylinder heads and install washers and retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to specifications.
  2. Install spark plugs and wires. Connect exhaust gas oxygen sensor (if equipped). To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
