Speed Reading Erratic

  1. Check speedometer cable for proper routing, kinks or binding. If cable is damaged or routed improperly. Service or correct condition as necessary. If okay, proceed to step 2).
  2. Check speedometer electronics module (substitute new module for original). If module okay, replace speedometer electronics. If not okay with new module, service cable, core and gear system as necessary.
