Removal & Installation (Continental & Mark VII - EMC)

  1. Disconnect battery ground. Remove instrument panel molding and trim retaining screws. Remove trim assembly (lift panel pad as needed to clear trim). On Mark VII, remove the attaching screws and the right hand finish panel insert. Remove the 4 screws holding the message center to instrument panel.
  2. Pull part way out, disconnect electrical connectors from back side and remove message center. To install, reverse removal procedure.
