Alternator Indicator

Disconnect voltage regulator connector and turn ignition to "ON". Connect a test light (a No. 67 or 1155 bulb recommended) between regulator connector "I" terminal and regulator base. Test light will come on if circuit is good. If indicator warning light comes on at full brightness and test light fails to come on, 15 ohm resistor or circuit is open.
