Temperature Gauge

System consists of a sending unit mounted in heater hose block (1600cc Pinto), in engine block (2000cc Pinto), in cylinder head (6 Cyl.), intake manifold (8 Cyl.) and a temperature gauge. When engine temperature is low, resistance of sending unit is high, thus restricting flow of current through gauge, resulting in a low reading. The reverse is true when engine temperature increases.
