Installation [11/2021 - 03/2023]: Procedure

INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR

Cutout (Fuel Delivery Pipe Sub-assembly)

Cutout (Fuel Pressure Sensor)

Install a new fuel pressure sensor to the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
NOTE:
Make sure that the cutout of the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly is aligned with the cutout of the fuel pressure sensor.

INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR HOLDER

Cutout (No. 1 Fuel Pressure Sensor Holder)

Temporarily install the No. 1 fuel pressure sensor holder to the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
NOTE:
Make sure that the cutout of the fuel pressure sensor is aligned with the cutout of the No. 1 fuel pressure sensor holder.
Using an 8 mm socket wrench, install the 2 new bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf)
Connect the fuel pressure sensor connector.

INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 54
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pressure sensor.

INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING BATTERY TERMINAL
HINT:

When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
