Air Vent cannot be Switched [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK AIR OUTLET SERVO MOTOR 
    1. Confirm for which seat the air outlet mode cannot be changed.

      Result

      The air outlet mode for the front seats cannot be changed A
      The air outlet mode for the rear seats cannot be changed B

  2. CHECK NO. 1 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check that the No. 1 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.

      OK

      The No. 1 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REASSEMBLY [11/2021 - ]

  3. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      B1402-87 and B1403-7F are not output A
      B1402-87 is output B
      B1403-7F is output C

    Result: 

    A 

    REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 03/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [03/2022 - ] 

    Result: 

    B 

    GO TO DTC B1402-87. Refer to  DTC B1402-87: Lost Communication with Front Air Outlet Damper Control Servo Motor LIN Missing Message [11/2021 - ]  

    Result: 

    C 

    GO TO DTC B1403-7F. Refer to  DTC B1403-7F: Front Air Outlet Damper Control Servo Motor Actuator Stuck Off [11/2021 - ]  

  4. CHECK NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check that the No. 2 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.

      OK

      The No. 2 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REASSEMBLY [11/2021 - ]
