DTC C0506-1F: Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Intermittent [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

Pre-procedure1

1. Remove the front speed sensor RH.

   HINT: 

   w/o AVS: Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to REMOVAL [03/2024 - ]

   w/ AVS: Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to REMOVAL [03/2024 - ]

   Procedure1

2. Check the front speed sensor RH.

   OK

   The front speed sensor RH tip is free of oil and foreign matter.

   HINT: 

   If foreign matter of 1mm x 1mm or more is adhered to the front speed sensor RH, this DTC may be stored.

   Result

   The front speed sensor rotor RH is free of oil and foreign matter.

   HINT: 

   • If foreign matter of 1mm x 1mm or more is adhered to the front speed sensor rotor RH, this DTC may be stored.
   • The front speed sensor rotor RH is incorporated into the front axle hub sub-assembly RH.

     If the front speed sensor rotor RH needs to be replaced, replace it together with the front axle hub sub-assembly RH.
