DTC C0063-1F: Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit Intermittent; DTC C0063-96: Yaw Rate Sensor Component Internal Failure; DTC C0520-1F: Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Circuit Intermittent [11/2021 - ]: Description
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2025 Lexus NX 350, 2025 Lexus NX 250, 2024 Lexus NX 350, 2024 Lexus NX 250, and 2023 Lexus NX 350. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The airbag sensor assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.
These DTCs are stored when the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives a malfunction signal from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly).
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area | DTC Output from | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| C0063-1F | Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit Intermittent | When the voltage at terminal +BS is between 9.6 and 16.5 V, data malfunction signal is received from the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) for 1 second or more. | Yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) | Brake/EPB | A |
| C0063-96 | Yaw Rate Sensor Component Internal Failure | With the +BS terminal voltage between 9.6 and 16.5 V, a yaw rate sensor internal malfunction signal is received from the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly). | Yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) | Brake/EPB | A |
| C0520-1F | Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Circuit Intermittent | When the voltage at terminal +BS is between 9.6 and 16.5 V, data malfunction signal is received from the acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) for 10 seconds or more. | Acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) | Brake/EPB | A |
