Shift Control ECU Communication Stop Mode [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the D39 transmission floor shift assembly (shift control ECU) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D39-15 (CA1H) - D39-16 (CA1L)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	54 to 69 Ω

   Result

   Result
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY (SHIFT CONTROL ECU) - NO. 8 GLOBAL CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 

Result: 

OK

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D39-9 (E1) - Body ground	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	Below 1 Ω
   D39-23 (E12) - Body ground	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	Below 1 Ω

2. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   D39-2 (BATT) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V
   D39-1 (IGP) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	11 to 14 V
