DTC B27A6-13: Rear Floor Electrical Key Oscillator Circuit Open [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION 
    1. Check that the connectors are properly connected to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) and No. 2 indoor electrical key antenna assembly (rear floor).

      OK

      Connectors are properly connected.

      Result

      Proceed to

      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    CONNECT CONNECTORS PROPERLY 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) - NO. 2 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (REAR FLOOR)) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the G12 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
    2. Disconnect the G13 No. 2 indoor electrical key antenna assembly (rear floor) connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G12-1 (CLG6) - G13-1 (ANTE6) Always Below 1 Ω
      G12-2 (CG6B) - G13-2 (CLGB) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

      Post-procedure1

    4. None

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (OUTPUT TO NO. 2 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (REAR FLOOR)) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Connect the G12 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

      Procedure1

    2. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.

      *a Component with harness connected
      (Certification ECU (Smart Key ECU Assembly))
      *b Waveform 1
      *c Waveform 2 *d For 30 seconds after any door closed
      *e After 30 seconds or more have elapsed since any door closed - -

      OK

      Tester Connection Condition Tool Setting Specified Condition
      G12-1 (CLG6) - D58-29 (E) Procedure:
      1. Ignition switch off
      2. Electrical key transmitter sub-assembly not inside vehicle
      3. Within 30 seconds of closing any door
      2 V/DIV., 500 ms/DIV. Pulse generation

      G12-2 (CG6B) - D58-29 (E) Procedure:
      1. Ignition switch off
      2. Electrical key transmitter sub-assembly not inside vehicle
      3. Within 30 seconds of closing any door
      2 V/DIV., 500 ms/DIV. Pulse generation
      (See waveform 2)

    REPLACE NO. 2 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (REAR FLOOR). Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]
