Installation [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY (WATER INLET HOUSING)

      1. Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, install the stud bolt.

        Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf)

      Torque: 43 N.m (438 kgf/cm, 32 ft.lbf)

      *a Protrusion *b Cutout
      1. Align the protrusion of the engine water pump assembly (water inlet housing) with the cutout in the sensor wire.
      2. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, connect the sensor wire to the engine water pump assembly (water inlet housing) with the bolt.

        Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

      3. Connect the sensor wire connector.
  2. INSTALL WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
