- INSPECT ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Inspect the "TRAILL" mode switch:
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 5 (B) - 7 (E) Pressed Below 40 Ω Not pressed 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the electric parking brake switch assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Inspect the illumination:
- Apply battery voltage to the drive mode select switch (combination switch assembly) and check that the switch illuminates.

Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 11 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 15 (ILL-)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the electric parking brake switch assembly.
