Installation [11/2021 - 03/2024]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL 4WD ECU ASSEMBLY (for A25A-FKS) 
    1. Type A:

      Torque: 13 N.m (133 kgf/cm, 10 ft.lbf) 

    2. Type B:

      *a 10.7 mm (0.421 in.) or higher - -
      1. Temporarily install the 4WD ECU assembly to the vehicle body with the 2 nuts.
      2. Confirm that two-thirds or more of the diameter of the nut (A) is overlapping the body, and fully tighten the nuts in the order of (A) then (B).

        Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf) 

      3. Engage the clamp.
      4. Connect the 2 4WD ECU assembly connectors.
  2. INSTALL 4WD ECU ASSEMBLY (for T24A-FTS)

      *a 10.7 mm (0.421 in.) or higher - -
      1. Temporarily install the 4WD ECU assembly to the vehicle body with the 2 nuts.
      2. Confirm that two-thirds or more of the diameter of the nut (A) is overlapping the body, and fully tighten the nuts in the order of (A) then (B).

        Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf) 

      3. Engage the clamp.
      4. Connect the 2 4WD ECU assembly connectors.
  3. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23
  4. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK 
  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY 
  6. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH 
  8. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE TRIM BASE COVER LH 
  9. CONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 
  10. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 
  11. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
  12. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH 
  13. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH 
  14. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD REAR LH 
  15. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD REAR RH 
  16. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/o Spare Tire) 
  17. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY 
  18. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 
  19. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY 
  20. OPERATION WHEN REPLACING ECU (for T24A-FTS) 
    NOTE:

    When the 4WD ECU assembly is replaced, it is necessary to perform the following in order: ECU Configuration and ECU Data Write.
