Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly Communication Stop Mode [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the M4 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M4-9 (CANH) - M4-10 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to 
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINE OR CONNECTOR (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY) 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Check the inner rear view mirror assembly power source circuit.

      Refer to The Camera Indicator is not Displayed [11/2021 - ]

      Result

      Result
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
