Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE EGR COOLER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ] 

  2. DISCONNECT FUEL VAPOR FEED HOSE ASSEMBLY

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 2 FUEL VAPOR FEED HOSE ASSEMBLY

  4. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 EGR PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      1. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 EGR pipe sub-assembly from the intake manifold and EGR valve assembly.
  6. REMOVE EGR VALVE ADAPTER GASKET

  7. REMOVE EGR INLET GASKET

  8. DISCONNECT NO. 4 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

  9. DISCONNECT NO. 8 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

  10. REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY

      1. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts and EGR valve assembly from the camshaft housing.
