Removal [03/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for Gasoline Model) 

    for A25A-FKS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    for T24A-FTS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER DYNAMIC DAMPER (for T24A-FTS LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  3. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH (for Gasoline Model LH Side) 
    for A25A-FKS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
    for T24A-FTS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
  4. REMOVE NO. 2 FLOOR UNDER COVER (for Gasoline Model LH Side) 
    for A25A-FKS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
    for T24A-FTS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
  5. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (for Gasoline Model RH Side) 
    for A25A-FKS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
    for T24A-FTS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
  6. REMOVE NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER (for Gasoline Model RH Side) 
    for A25A-FKS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
    for T24A-FTS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
  7. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [03/2024 - ]

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 LOWER CONTROL ARM COVER 

    See step  2

  9. SEPARATE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY (w/o AVS)

  11. REMOVE REAR TRAILING ARM ASSEMBLY

      *A for Nut Connection Type *B for Bolt Connection Type
      *1 Bolt *2 Nut
      *a Wooden Block *b Transmission Jack
      Outside of the Vehicle - -
      1. Using a transmission jack and a wooden block, support the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.
        NOTE:
        • When jacking up the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly, be sure to jack it up slowly.
        • Make sure to perform this operation with the vehicle kept as low as possible.
      2. Remove the 2 bolts.
      3. for Nut Connection Type:

        1. Remove the bolt, nut and separate the rear trailing arm assembly from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly.

      4. for Bolt Connection Type:

        1. Remove the bolt, nut and separate the rear trailing arm assembly from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly.

        NOTE:

        Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Loosen the bolt with the nut secured.

      5. Remove the 2 bolts and rear trailing arm assembly.
