Installation [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

   1. Apply a light coat of lithium soap base glycol grease to a new parking brake actuator seal.
   2. Install the parking brake actuator seal to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
      NOTE:

      Make sure to replace the parking brake actuator seal with a new one when installing the parking brake actuator assembly.

   1. Using a 5 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the parking brake actuator assembly to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 8.4 N*m (86 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf)

   1. Connect the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly connector to the parking brake actuator assembly.
      NOTE:

      • Remove any dirt or foreign matter on and around the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly connector before performing this work.
      • Do not allow water, oil or dirt to enter the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly connector.
