Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. SECURE VEHICLE

      1. Fully apply the parking brake and chock a wheel.
        WARNING:
        • Make sure to apply the parking brake and chock a wheel before performing this procedure.
        • If the vehicle is not secure and the shift lever is moved to N, the vehicle may suddenly move, possibly resulting in an accident or serious injury.
  2. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  1

  3. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [03/2022 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [03/2024 - ]
  4. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [03/2022 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [03/2024 - ]
  5. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [03/2022 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [03/2024 - ]

  6. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [03/2022 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [03/2024 - ]

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [03/2022 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [03/2024 - ]

  8. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [03/2022 - 03/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [03/2024 - ]

  9. REMOVE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting a wire harness of any component connected to the supply power of the integrated capacitor (integration control supply) or when removing the integrated capacitor (integration control supply), make sure to wait 5 minutes or more after turning the ignition switch off for self-diagnosis to complete and the voltage of the integrated capacitor (integration control supply) to discharge.
