Caution / Notice / Hint

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during 4WD ECU assembly removal/installation are shown below.

NECESSARY PROCEDURES AFTER PARTS REMOVED/INSTALLED/REPLACED

  1. Replacement of 4WD ECU assembly
1. ECU Data Save (ECU being replaced) Dynamic Torque Control AWD System (for T24A-FTS, A25A-FKS (Type B)) Refer to CALIBRATION [11/2021 - 03/2023] , or refer to CALIBRATION [03/2023 - ]
2. ECU Configuration (New ECU) Vehicle Control History (RoB) are stored Refer to ECU CONFIGURATION [11/2021 - ]
3. ECU Data Write (When replacing 4WD ECU assembly) (New ECU) Dynamic Torque Control AWD System (for T24A-FTS, A25A-FKS (Type B)) Refer to CALIBRATION [11/2021 - 03/2023] , or refer to CALIBRATION [03/2023 - ]
for Power Seat 
  • Replacement of rear seatback assembly LH*1
  • Replacement of rear seatback assembly RH*1
Initialize fold seat control ECU Rear Power Seat Control System Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2021 - ]

*1: Even when not replacing the part, it is necessary to perform the specified necessary procedures after installation.

NOTE:
  • To prevent the key from being locked in the vehicle, make sure to enter e-latch inspection mode and enable the manual release handle before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to INSPECTION MODE PROCEDURE [11/2021 - ]

  • When the 4WD ECU assembly is replaced, before removing the 4WD ECU assembly, it is necessary to perform ECU Data Save to save the original 4WD ECU assembly information.

    for T24A-FTS:

    Refer to CALIBRATION [11/2021 - 03/2023] , or refer to CALIBRATION [03/2023 - ]

HINT: 

When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

LEARNING COMPLETES WHEN VEHICLE IS DRIVEN

Lighting System (EXT) Drive the vehicle straight ahead at 15 km/h (10 mph) or more for 1 second or more. Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2021 - ]
Front Camera System
Adaptive High Beam System
Stop and Start System Idle the engine for approximately 5 to 60 minutes or drive the vehicle until stop and start control is permitted. Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2021 - 03/2023] , or refer to PRECAUTION [03/2023 - 03/2024]
LEARNING COMPLETES WHEN VEHICLE IS OPERATED NORMALLY

Air Conditioning System After the ignition switch is turned to ON, the servo motor standard position is recognized. -
