Caution / Notice / Hint
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2025 Lexus NX 350h, 2024 Lexus NX 350h, 2023 Lexus NX 350h, and 2022 Lexus NX 350h. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during HV battery removal/installation are shown below.
WARNING:
- Orange wire harnesses and connectors indicate high-voltage circuits. To prevent electric shock, always follow the procedure described in the repair information.
Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2021 - ]
- To prevent electric shock, wear insulated gloves when working on wire harnesses and components of the high voltage system.
- Never perform work on fuel system components near any possible ignition sources.
- Vaporized fuel could ignite, resulting in a serious accident.
- Do not perform work on fuel system components without first disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Sparks could cause vaporized fuel to ignite, resulting in a serious accident.
- The fuel tank sub-assembly is very heavy. Be sure to follow the procedure described in the repair information, or the fuel tank sub-assembly may fall off the engine lifter.
- To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust manifold or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
NOTE:
To prevent the key from being locked in the vehicle, make sure to enter e-latch inspection mode and enable the manual release handle before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
HINT:
When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.
