- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVE MODE SELECT SWITCH - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the drive mode select switch connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D33-6 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the drive mode select switch connector.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - DRIVE MODE SELECT SWITCH)
- Disconnect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
- Disconnect the drive mode select switch connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D67-37 (SPRT) - D33-3 (SPSW) Always Below 1 Ω D67-37 (SPRT) or D33-3 (SPSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D67-38 (NORM) - D33-2 (NORM) Always Below 1 Ω D67-38 (NORM) or D33-2 (NORM) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the drive mode select switch connector.
- Reconnect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors.
