Installation [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY 

    Torque: 8.3 N.m (85 kgf/cm, 73 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH 
  4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX HOLE COVER 
  5. INSTALL SHIFTING HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY 
  6. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28 [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28 [03/2022 - ]
  7. INSTALL LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 
  8. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY 

    Refer to UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY [11/2021 - ]

  10. SWITCH SPECIFICATION INFORMATION 

    Refer to UTILITY [11/2021 - ]

  11. CONFIRMATION AFTER REPLACING TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY 
    1. After replacing the transmission floor shift assembly, check for the following symptoms. If any symptoms are found, make sure to perform the procedure from step (b).
      • The P position switch flashes when the shift state is other than P and the ignition switch is ON (IG) or ON (READY).
      • The automatic P position function does not operate.
      • The shift position is not displayed on the combination meter assembly until the shift state is changed.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Push the P position switch to change the shift state to P.
    4. Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY).
    5. Depress the brake pedal and operate the shift lever to change the shift state to D.
    6. Check that the P position switch does not flash when the shift state is other than P and the ignition switch is ON (IG) or ON (READY).
      NOTE:

      If the P position switch flashes, make sure to perform the procedure from step (b) to step (e) again.
