STEERING PAD SWITCH (W/ TOUCH TRACER OPERATION GUIDE) CONTROL
HINT:

When the customize settings of the steering pad switch is changed, the following control is performed.
1. The radio and display receiver assembly outputs the change in the customize settings to the combination meter assembly via Ethernet communication.
2. The combination meter assembly receives information from the radio and display receiver assembly, change the operation guide display with the following control.
  Headup display active
  1. Outputs the customize settings information to the meter mirror sub-assembly via GVIF communication.
  2. The meter mirror sub-assembly receives information from the combination meter assembly and displays the operation guide in accordance with the customize setting status on the headup display.
  Headup display inactive
  1. Displays the operation guide in accordance with the customize setting status on the muliti-information display.
1. When the steering pad switch is operated, the operation information of each switch is output to the combination meter assembly by the steering pad switch assembly via CXPI communication.
2. When the combination meter assembly receives information from the steering pad switch assembly, displays the operation guide with the following control.
  Headup display active
  1. Outputs the operation information of each switch to the meter mirror sub-assembly via GVIF communication.
  2. The meter mirror sub-assembly receives information from the combination meter assembly and displays the operation guide on the headup display.
  Headup display inactive
  1. Displays the operation guide on the multi-information display.
3. When the combination meter assembly receives information from the steering pad switch assembly, it outputs the operation information of each switch to the related ECU via CAN communication.
4. Each ECU which received the operation information from the combination meter assembly, operates the respective function in accordance with the operation information.
