Installation [09/2023 - 12/2023]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

      1. Connect the pretensioner connector.

        HINT: 

        Refer to How to Connect or Disconnect Airbag Connector.

        Refer to HOW TO CONNECT OR DISCONNECT AIRBAG CONNECTOR [09/2023 - ]

      2. Engage the 2 guides to temporarily install the rear seat outer belt assembly with the 2 bolts.
      3. Fully tighten the bolt (A) first, then the bolt (B).

        Bolt (A) 

        Torque: 12.5 N.m (127 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

        Bolt (B) 

        Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

      4. Connect the shoulder anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

        Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf)

      1. Check that the ELR locks.

        1. Connect the floor anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

        Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

        2. With the rear seat outer belt assembly installed to the vehicle, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

        NOTE:

        This check should be performed with the rear seat outer belt assembly installed to the vehicle.

        3. Remove the bolt to disconnect the floor anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly.

  2. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH 
  3. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side) 
  4. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) 
  5. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 
  6. INSTALL ROPE HOOK 
  7. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK 
  8. INSTALL DECK TRIM POCKET COVER 
  9. CONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 

    See step  9

  10. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM COVER 
  11. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

  12. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH BELT HOLE COVER 
  13. CONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP 
  14. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE 
  15. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER 
  16. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 
  17. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2023 - 12/2023]

  18. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    1. for Gasoline Model:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

    2. except Gasoline Model:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  19. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER (except Gasoline Model) 
  20. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (except Gasoline Model) 
  21. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [09/2023 - 12/2023]

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.

  22. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2023 - ]

  23. INSPECT SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM
