- INSPECT ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY (TRAIL MODE SWITCH)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(Electric Parking Brake Switch Assembly)Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result 5 (B) - 7 (E) Pressed Below 40 Ω Ω 5 (B) - 7 (E) Not pressed 10 kΩ or higher kΩ If the result is not as specified, replace the electric parking brake switch assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- INSPECT ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY (ILLUMINATION)
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the drive mode select switch (combination switch assembly) and check that the switch illuminates.

Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 11 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 15 (ILL-)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the electric parking brake switch assembly.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the drive mode select switch (combination switch assembly) and check that the switch illuminates.
