- INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY
Pre-procedure1
- Disconnect the wire harness protector.
*1 Wire Harness Protector - Disconnect the engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
- Start the engine.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result 1(S) - Switch body Idling 10 kΩ or higher kΩ 1(S) - Switch body Engine stopped Below 1 Ω Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

Post-procedure1
- Connect the engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
- Connect the wire harness protector.
- Disconnect the wire harness protector.
