DTC P3175-15: Electric/Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump "A" Motor Temperature Sensor Circuit Short to Battery or Open [09/2023 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING GTS (EOP COIL TEMPERATURE)
- Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.
Powertrain > Transmission > Data List
Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note EOP Coil Temperature EOP coil temperature Min.: -40.0°C (-40.0°F)
Max.: 215.9°C (420.6°F)Equal to ambient temperature: When engine is cold Malfunction could be due to a EOP coil temperature signal malfunction Powertrain > Transmission > Data List

See step 2
- Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (EOP COIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR - TCM)
Pre-procedure1
- Disconnect the TCM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result C25-50 (CT2+) - C25-49 (CT2-) Always 0.1 to 264 kΩ kΩ C25-50 (CT2+) - Other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher kΩ C25-49 (CT2-) - Other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher kΩ HINT:
If the resistance is out of the specified range at any of the transaxle fluid temperatures shown in the table below, the driveability of the vehicle may decrease.
Transaxle Fluid Temperature Specified Condition 10°C (50°F) 17.5 to 21.8 kΩ 25°C (77°F) 9.7 to 11.8 kΩ 110°C (230°F) 0.96 to 1.07 kΩ Result
