DTC P08BF-11: Pressure Control Solenoid "L" Control Circuit Short to Ground [09/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SOLENOID (SL6) VALVE - TCM) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Disconnect the TCM connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      C25-5 (SL6+) - C25-19 (SLG3) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Post-procedure1

    • None.

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE TCM. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2023 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - TCM) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Disconnect the transmission wire connector.
    • Disconnect the TCM connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      C65-17 (SL6+) or C25-5 (SL6+) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher

      OK
      NG

    Post-procedure1

    • None.

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. INSPECT SOLENOID (SL6) VALVE

    REPAIR OR REPLACE TRANSMISSION WIRE. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2023 - ]

    REPLACE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2023 - ]
