System Description

The hybrid motor control inverter converts the high-voltage direct current of the HV battery into alternating current for the motor.
Therefore, the hybrid motor control inverter is cooled by the water-cooled type cooling system that cools the EV converter assembly (DC/DC converter), EV motor control inverter assembly, rear transaxle motor cooling cooler, turbocharger sub-assembly and intercooler assembly.
The ECM controls the inverter water pump assembly (with motor) based on the flow rate requested by the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly.
