Installation [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL DC/DC CONVERTER ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    NOTE:

    If the DC/DC converter assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      *a Positioning Pins *b Cooling Fin
      1. Align the positions of the 2 positioning pins and install the DC/DC converter assembly with the 4 bolts.

        Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf) 

        NOTE:
        • Do not damage the cooling fin.
        • Tapping cannot be performed on the bolt fastening areas.
      2. Engage the 2 clamps.
        NOTE:

        Do not damage the fins.

  2. INSTALL DC/DC CONVERTER COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:
    • Be sure not to touch the fan part of the DC/DC converter cooling blower assembly.
    • Do not lift the DC/DC converter cooling blower assembly using the wire harness.
    • Do not allow any foreign matter to enter the DC/DC converter cooling blower assembly.

      *a Positioning Pins - -
      1. Align the positions of the 2 positioning pins and install the DC/DC converter cooling blower assembly with the 3 bolts.

        Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL DC/DC CONVERTER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    NOTE:

    If the DC/DC converter assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      *a Hold Here - -
      1. Install the DC/DC converter assembly with bracket with the 3 bolts.

        Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf/cm, 13 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:
        • Tighten the bolts in the following sequence: Temporarily install A → tighten in the order of B → A → C.
        • Tapping cannot be performed on the bolt fastening areas.
  4. CONNECT FLOOR UNDER WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

  5. CONNECT NO. 2 HV FLOOR UNDER WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

      *a Green-colored Lock - -
      Slide - -
      1. Connect the connector and slide the green-colored lock as shown in the illustration to lock it securely.
        NOTE:

        Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

      2. Engage the clamp.
  6. INSTALL DC/DC CONVERTER COOLING EXHAUST DUCT

      *a Positioning Pins - -
      1. Align the positions of the 2 positioning pins and install the DC/DC converter cooling exhaust duct with the 2 bolts.

        Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf) 

  7. CONNECT NO. 2 FLOOR WIRE 
  8. CONNECT FLOOR WIRE 

    Torque: 11.5 N.m (117 kgf/cm, 8 ft.lbf) 

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 CONVERTER COOLING INTAKE DUCT 
  10. INSTALL EV CONVERTER PROTECTOR

      1. Install the EV converter protector with the 4 nuts.

        Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf/cm, 13 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Tighten the nuts in the following sequence: Temporarily install A → tighten in the order of B → A → C → D.

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 CONVERTER COOLING INTAKE DUCT 
  12. INSTALL NO. 2 CHARGER INTAKE DUCT 
  13. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 
  14. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 
  15. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP
