Installation [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

      *a Positioning Holes - -
      1. Align the 2 positioning holes and temporarily install the EV charger assembly.
      2. Tighten the 4 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

        Torque: 19 N.m (194 kgf/cm, 14 ft.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 CHARGER INTAKE DUCT

      *a Protrusion - -
      Install in this Direction - -
      1. Insert the No. 1 charger intake duct in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and install the clip.
        NOTE:

        Insert the No. 1 charger intake duct until the protrusion is no longer visible.

  3. INSTALL FLOOR UNDER WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

      *a Green-colored Lock - -
      Slide - -
      1. Connect the connector and slide the green-colored lock as shown in the illustration to lock it securely.

      1. Connect the connector and slide the green-colored lock as shown in the illustration to lock it securely.
      2. Engage the clamp.
  4. INSTALL EV CONVERTER PROTECTOR 
    See step  10
  5. CONNECT NO. 2 FLOOR WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

      1. Engage the clamp.
      2. Connect the connector (A) and move the lock lever as shown in the illustration to lock the connector (A).
        NOTE:

        Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

      3. Connect the 2 connectors.
  6. INSTALL NO. 1 CHARGER EXHAUST DUCT 
  7. INSTALL NO. 2 CHARGER EXHAUST DUCT 
  8. INSTALL NO. 2 CHARGER INTAKE DUCT 
  9. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 
  10. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 
  11. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP
