DTC Summary

  1. MALFUNCTION DESCRIPTION 

    The charge control ECU built into the electric vehicle charger assembly detects when the sub DC/DC converter stops due to a malfunction.

    The cause of this malfunction may be one of the following:

    Sub DC/DC converter malfunction 

    • Electric vehicle charger assembly malfunction

    Sub DC/DC converter AMD circuit malfunction 

    • AMD circuit fuse contact area malfunction
    • Electric vehicle charger assembly connector contact area malfunction
    • Wire harness malfunction
  2. INSPECTION DESCRIPTION

    System Diagram Range Inspection Content Reason
    *a Perform an open circuit inspection and check the condition of the AMD fuse contact area. Perform an open circuit inspection and check whether AMD fuse is installed properly and check for open circuit.
    *b Check whether the electric vehicle charger assembly connector is connected. Check whether the connectors are connected properly.
    *c Check for an open in the wire harness. Open in wire harness.
    *d Replace electric vehicle charger assembly Electric vehicle charger assembly internal malfunction
